yamaha g9 oil problems

when engine is running, oil is filling the airbox with gas and oil.any suggestions,please help.thank you,Jim R

Make sure that your engine oil is not overfilled. It should only have 1 quart of oil in it. If you have an older original dip stick it should only read half way on the stick. If you are getting gas in to the airfilter also you might have a stuck float needle on your carburetor. Stuck needles will trickle fuel into the cylinder and that makes its way into the crankcase. That overfills the fluid level in your engine and the excess fluid gets pumped into the airfilter. If that is the case then you need to clean out your carburetor.
