Hi newbie here, quick question (im at work)

i have a guy offering me a 1984 yamaha golf cart (G1 from a lil research i did) 4" lift 20" tires, brand new rebuilt motor (not even in the cart yet), he said one of the lift pieces was broken, but i work in a machine shop so i am assuming i will be able to make a new one no problem. He said he thought it was just like 4 pieces of flat stock with some holes.

heres a link to what he is offering me http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=112767

but for the price i think my old man is gonna buy it for me for christmas. please give me your opinion on this/ any info on 84 yamahas

thanks in advance

it wont go that fast. u could probably run faster than it. ud have to mess with the governor but then ull be revving the engine pretty good. $500 sounds like a good deal to me. but u might have some problems turning paddle tires in the sand.

i planned on taking the governor off. making a exhaust with a fmf blaster pipe. k&n or UNI filter, jets, the torque spring from CPP and maybe machined clutch.
