Anybody have any pictures of zip tieing the governor on a 2003 EZ-GO Gas Cart? Any instructions?

Sorry, no pictures but this is simple. Pull the gov arm out of the way and secure it (zip tie it) so it is not involved anymore

The gov arm is top of the transmission? It has a spring with a cable going thru the top of it. Zip tie all of it out of the way together or unhook the cable and spring then zip tie the armbackoutof the way. Sorry to be confusing but want to make sure I have it right. Thanks Scooter.

I guess a picture is worth a 1000 words.
Forget zip tie and just remove the entire assembly all together.

my linkage was loose, the governor wasn't even engaging...tightened that up & zip tied

Thats what i was wondering. Havent never done this and that was why i was wondering if any one had pics.

I wasn't seriously asking. It's not a good idea to bypass the governor. Just adjust it properly.

Man that looked BADDDDDDDDDD!!! My knowledge is not that good to repair a rearend. Didn't want to bypass completely, just wanted to squeeze a little bit more out of it. I wanted the best of both worlds. I put in a torque clutch spring and didn't want to loose any of my topend. Its at 25 mph right now but my last one was at 30 mph( 9hp robins) I'll take your advice. Can you help me with pics? Or detailed instructions. I just spent 8 months rebuilding it and I'm not ready to be without her (2003 gas EZ-GO 6' Jakes lift kit with 25x10.5x12).
