ez go solenoid clicks, won't go

My daughter inherited an old EZ Go from her grandfather, and the kids absolutely love it. Put new batteries in it, eventually replaced the solenoid, and all new battery cables.

In the past few weeks, sometimes it would only go in reverse. Wait a while and try again, then it goes in forward. Eventually realized you just needed to move the lever an 1/8th of an inch and wiggle it and it would go forward. The other day my wife was driving it, stopped it, and no go in either forward or reverse. I checked all cables but can't see a problem. The solenoid clicks when pressing the pedal.

What do I do next? I have limited mechanical ability but am willing to learn. I can't get it to move an inch.

The tag says EZGO Textron, Augusta, GA, Serial No 398838 Man. Code E2086.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem did you fix it and what was the problem???
