Usually 20" by 8.5 or 9.5 inch wide.

I'm curious about the very same thing. I've found a listing for 205 - 65 tires (for a 10" wheel) that allege not to require a lift kit. The web site suggests they're 20.7" tall... Google 205 65 and you'll probably find some options. If you jump at the mod before me, please post. I'll do the same.

A 205 tire is about same height as an 18" tire. Most 205 are for a 10" rim though.

A standard golf cart tire is 18X8.50-8. 18 is the diameter in inches, 8.5 the width, and 8 is the rim diameter. Some possibilities for upgrades:

205X50-10 (18.07X8.07, sidewall height 4.04)
205X65-10 (20.49X8.07, sidewall height 5.25)
215X30-12 (17.08X8.46, sidewall height 2.54)
215X35-12 (17.93X8.46, sidewall height 2.96)
215X40-12 (18.77X8.46, sidewall height 3.39)
215X45-12 (19,62X8.46, sidewall height 3.81)

I'm planning to upgrade the wheels and tires on my cart this year. There's a bunch of carts in my neighborhood running the 205X50-10 tire, which looks great. There's a few lately running the 215X35-12, but I'm not too crazy about the much smaller sidewall.

I was kind of set on getting the 215X45-12, but I'm not sure I really like the 12 inch wheels anyway. I do like the idea of increasing the diameter of the tire over stock though.

If the 205X65-10 really does fit it could mean a pretty good speed boost. (20 mph on a 18" tire, would be 22.68 on the 20.5")

(thanks to discount tire for the tire calculator :D )

I'm hoping someone here has tried either the 215X45-12 or the 205X65-10 on an otherwise stock EZGO electric.

good luck
