EZ-GO Key Switch

EZ-GO Key Switch

Postby Fluffybear » Sun Dec 02, 2007 10:38 pm

The wife is concerned about the key in our EZ-Go and someone just taking an extra EZ-GO key and driving off in the sunset. we were wondering what it would take to change the key switch and if anyone had any suggestions on what I can go with to make it more "unique"

You can get an E-Z-GO personalized key switch. Pop up the cup holder and reach under to change. Next you can hide another switch under the seat some where.

Bu may be able to order one I don't know. Your local E-Z-GO dealer may have one or they can order one. They are about $15 - $25. If need any more keys you will have to go to a locksmith. Hope that helps.

You can go to Autozone, or O'reiley's and get an on/off key switch.

About $10.00

Thanks!

I was think about the autozone route but wasn't sure if they would work (voltages, etc..) plus I need a 3-way switch for lights.

If you have the switch with lights then go to a cart shop, or order from Buggies.

Either wire will interupt the circut. I would get out the tester and interupt the power before the switch.......
If it's broke - fix it
If it ain't broke - fix it up

Here is a wiring diagram for the PDS cart. If link does not come up, the diagram is also in the "Resource" section of forum.
