Biggest Tire/Wheel Combo WITHOUT Lift Kit?

Postby OBXTucker » Sat May 19, 2007 11:17 pm

I've got an '02 CC and am looking for a little extra speed and nicer look. I don't need the lift kit, as the cart is almost always on hard surfaced roads.

What's the largest wheel/tire combo I can run without a lift - and without it rubbing?

I'm looking at the Multi-Trac 20x10x10 on BU. Also, with a combo such as this, will a spacer kit be necessary?

Thanks!

Check with BigDawg.
He said there are some 20.5's available that can be put on my cart which is an un lifted 2002 CC. But if I put too much weigh on the cart that back ones may rub.

Those tires should be fine, with the D-377 and those tires your cart should go ~21 mph.

I'm already dialed up to the 19.6 program - although it only does about 18.5 (via GPS). The 20's and a D377 will only get me another 2 mph???

On 2nd thought, I should have mentioned that I have a rear seat installed - which may cause a "RUB" problem with passengers.....

Maybe the lift kit IS the way to go.....of course then I can go even larger with the tires!

The D-377 is rated at 20 mph with stock 18" tires, as you increase the tire size the cart will go faster then 20mph ie: I'm running the 377 with 23" tires and I get 23-25 mph. again it all depends on the look your going for 8)
